Jau’Nisha Williams holds a Master of Social Work from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Florida A&M University. Jau’Nisha is a certified School Social Worker, Qualified Mental Health Professional, and Suicide First Responder in the state of Texas. 

 

Jau’Nisha specializes in working with individuals and groups who have experienced depression, anxiety, Substance Abuse, adjustment disorders, and behavioral challenges. Jau’Nisha incorporates interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), Recovery Harm Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing. She has experience working with children using play therapy as well.
