Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I know that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and finding the right counselor is an important step in the healing process. My goal is to create a welcoming, compassionate space where you feel comfortable sharing your story and working toward the life you want to build.

I hold a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Science in Education and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology. For more than 15 years, I have worked in education and leadership, serving as a teacher, dean, assistant principal, curriculum specialist, and educational leader. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the complex challenges individuals, families, and communities face throughout their lifespan.

A significant part of my professional career has been dedicated to the prevention of child abuse, exploitation, and human trafficking. I have traveled throughout the United States providing training and education for law enforcement agencies, healthcare professionals, school districts, community organizations, faith-based groups, and parents. Through this work, I have helped professionals and communities better understand the dynamics of trauma, exploitation, grooming, victimization, and recovery while advocating for prevention, awareness, and survivor support.

Throughout my career, I have been drawn to work that helps individuals overcome adversity and reclaim their sense of self. I specialize in supporting clients impacted by trauma, abuse, exploitation, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My goal is to help clients understand their experiences, recognize their strengths, and develop the tools needed to create meaningful and lasting changes.

My counseling approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. Drawing from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I work alongside clients to foster insight, develop practical coping strategies, and build lasting emotional wellness.

Whether you are facing a current challenge, processing past experiences, or seeking personal growth, I am committed to helping you move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and hope.
