Matthew Sean Brinker born in Florida, went to Lake Worth High School but moved and graduated from Columbia High School in Lake City. After graduation went to Daytona Beach for college at Embry-Riddle aeronautical university to become a pilot. However, left college and joined the Florida Army National Guard unit in Jacksonville. There made pilot as a warrant officer and flew UH-60 Blackhawks with two deployments to Iraq. (2008-2009 & 2011-2012). After this, flew as a contract pilot in the corporate aviation sector until the desire to fly was met and another endeavor was needed.

Therefore, went back to college to receive an undergraduate in Sociology at Jacksonville University, then master’s degree in military psychology from Adler university, and finally another master’s degree in mental health counseling from Capella University. All of this to continue helping others where flying aircraft can only do so much. As a licensed mental health counselor intern with training in EMDR, certified in DBT, and borderline personality disorder these years in this field has shown how important and needed this work is for our community and country.
